Case Notes and Contact Logs are one of the next things to be built in the new YouthCenter. We’re in the process of designing how they’ll work and I’d like to start a conversation in the comments about it all. They are very similar in my mind, and in the interest of making YouthCenter easier to use I’m wondering if they should be combined.

Differences
Case Note has:
- Services Provided
- Duration of event
Contact Log has:
- Type of Contact
- Type of Activity
- Location of contact
- Person contacted/Relationship of that person
- You can add a Violation/Incentive/Drug Test to a contact log, but I’m not sure that anyone actually uses this feature.

- How do you use Case Notes? What kind of “notes” do you store there?
- How do you use Contact Log? What kind of “notes” do you store there?
- Do you think it makes sense for “Contact” to simply be a type of Case Note?
- Do you think having separate places for Case Notes and Contact Log makes YouthCenter sier or harder to use? Why?
