The team that builds YouthCenter constantly creates new tools and improves the system to help make your work more efficient. Part of those improvements is ensuring our platform stays modern and easy to use. As we continue to evolve, it’s time to say goodbye to some legacy features on the “Old Side” of YouthCenter. These features include the Client Summary, Search, and Dashboard found in the “Old Side” of YouthCenter.


These legacy features on “the old side” will no longer be available after our release on Sunday, March 30, 2025.
These features have served us well over the years, but they will be replaced—with more powerful and streamlined solutions in the new platform.
What You Can Do to Prepare
- If you’re not already, start using the new Dashboard today to familiarize yourself with the look and feel.
- The new Dashboard widgets have more capabilities than the old versions, including advanced filtering, more data columns, and the ability to print a module, to name a few.


- Keep an eye out for the filter by caseworker functionality coming to the “Clients Widget” at the end of February. This is the last element to replace the old dashboard.
- If you need assistance building a new dashboard and pushing a standard dashboard with pre-configured widgets to your team, reach out to [email protected], and our team will be happy to help you.
- Start using the new Client Summary. Familiarize yourself with where the information about your clients is located.
What about the other modules on the “old side?”
Offenses and Reports will continue to be available in the legacy platform. We plan to retire those remaining legacy modules later in 2025.
Why this change?
Our goal is to completely replace all legacy modules in YouthCenter in 2025 to provide a seamless experience for admins and users – no more bouncing between 2 different interfaces. We recently replaced Form Builder with Form Builder 2.0 and are also working towards moving Report Builder. By consolidating to a single interface utlizing a common technology, this will allow us to build innovative features faster, provide a higher quality user experience, provide better support, and maintain a more secure system.
