We're hosting another YouthCenter User Group meeting! Join us after the April MJDA Quarterly Meeting on Wednesday, April 20th.
Success or failure in working with juveniles is impacted by regular and meaningful interaction between the caseworker, the juvenile, and others involved with the youth (parents, school officials, etc.). An effective manager carefully monitors caseworker’s daily work and responds with feedback, training or correction when necessary.
In November YouthCenter was privileged to be a part of Michigan’s Juvenile Justice Vision 20/20 (JJV 20/20) Annual Meeting. This was an interactive, statewide, discussion about juvenile justice issues.
New improved main menu and more updates for beta. Check them out, let us know if you find anything that needs changing or improving! These changes will be rolled out to live next week.
Last week YouthCenter attended, as an exhibitor, the Juvenile Justice 20/20 conference "Human Trafficking - Strategies for Juvenile Justice". This conference was held at the Grand Valley State University, Loosemore Auditorium, in Grand Rapids, MI. The conference that was aimed at Courts, Case Workers, and Service Providers. The conference included speakers from the FBI, Michigan State Police, and The YWCA, among many others.
We're finally live! Lots of awesome changes, mostly to the new YouthCenter!
I'd like to start a discussion in the comments about Case Notes and Contact Logs. They are very similar in my mind, and in the interest of making YouthCenter easier to use I'm wondering if they should be combined.
