Rounds and Room Checks, Documented Where They Happen
Staff complete and document rounds, room checks, and observations directly on the device. RFID wall tags verify the staff member is physically at the location, on-device reminders flag upcoming and overdue checks, and supervisors get clear reporting on completed tasks and overall compliance.
Real-Time Movement Tracking with Separation Alerts
SafeGuard tracks individual and group movement throughout the facility and updates each youth’s location in YouthCenter in real time. Built-in safeguards notify staff when a movement may conflict with required juvenile separations, and movement history supports transparency during audits and incident reviews.
Safer Medication Distribution
Optional wristband scanning confirms the right youth before each dose. Staff can view medication schedules on the device, log distributions as they happen, and capture both staff and youth signatures, with every entry synced automatically to the youth’s record.

The SafeGuard device is rugged, drop-protected, and designed for shift work, with hot-swappable batteries so it never has to leave the floor to charge. Staff also use it for meal tracking, behavior management points, and time-stamped facility notes.
